ഫോട്ടോസ്റ്റാറ്റ് കടയില് ജോലി ചെയ്യുകയാണ് കേശു (ജയസൂര്യ). കടയില് കാര്യമായ പണിയൊന്നും ഇല്ലാത്തതുകൊണ്ടാണോ എന്നറിയില്ല, ബസില് കടന്നുപോകുന്ന റോസ് എന്ന സെയില്സ് ഗേളിനെ (മീര നന്ദന്) നോക്കി നില്പ്പാണ് പ്രധാന പരിപാടി. ആയിരത്തിന്റെ നോട്ട് കണ്ടാലുടന് മൂപ്പര് ഫോട്ടോസ്റ്റാറ്റ് എടുത്ത് കള്ളനോട്ട് ഉണ്ടാക്കിക്കളയും. ഇതറിയാനിടയായ ഡാനി സായിപ്പ് (മുകേഷ്) കേശുവിനെ വച്ച് ഒരു വലിയ തട്ടിപ്പ് ആസൂത്രണം ചെയ്യുന്നു. അതു വിജയകരമായി നടത്തിയെങ്കിലും നേട്ടത്തേക്കാളേറെ നഷ്ടങ്ങളാണ് ഇരുവരെയും കാത്തിരുന്നത്.
PLUSES
മലയാളത്തിലെ കൊമേഴ്സ്യല് സിനിമയുടെ പതിവു വഴിയില് നിന്ന് മാറി നടക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമം ഈ സിനിമയുടെ പ്ലോട്ടിലുണ്ട്. നെഗറ്റീവ് സ്പര്ശമുള്ള നായകനെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചതും ഒരു പ്ലസ് ആയി പറയാം.
MINUSES
പച്ച മലയാളത്തില് പറഞ്ഞാല് ഊളത്തരങ്ങളുടെ ഗ്രൂപ്പ് ഷോയാണ് ഈ സിനിമ. കറന്സിയുടെ കളര് ഫോട്ടോസ്റ്റാറ്റ് എടുത്ത് ചില്ലറ ഒട്ടിക്കലും മറ്റും നടത്തിയാല് ആര്ക്കും തിരിച്ചറിയാന് പറ്റാത്ത (കള്ള)നോട്ടാകുന്നതും മറ്റും കാണുമ്പോള് ആരും ചിരിച്ചുപോകും; അങ്ങനെയൊരു ഉദ്ദേശ്യം സംവിധായകന് ഇല്ലെങ്കിലും. (ഇത്ര എളുപ്പമായിരുന്നെങ്കില് കള്ളവാറ്റിനേക്കാള് പ്രചാരമുള്ള കുടില് വ്യവസായമായി കള്ളനോട്ടടി എന്നേ മാറിയേനെ!). നമ്മുടെ സൂപ്പറുകളുടെ നായികയാക്കിയാല് പോലും ആരും തെറ്റു പറയാത്ത നടി സീത രൂപഭാവങ്ങളില് ഒരു മാറ്റവും വരുത്താതെ ജയസൂര്യയുടെ അമ്മവേഷത്തില് വരുന്നതും അന്വേഷണ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനായി വരുന്ന അനൂപ് മേനോന് ഫാന്സിഡ്രസ് നടത്തുന്നതും ഈ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്റെ നിഴലായി പ്രോഗ്രാം ചെയ്ത റോബോട്ടിനെപ്പോലെ ഒരു പെണ്ണ് നടക്കുന്നതുമെല്ലാം കാണികളെ ചിരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന കാഴ്ചകള് തന്നെ. ചുരുക്കിപ്പറഞ്ഞാല് മൊത്തത്തിലൊരു മൈനസിട്ട് മാറ്റി വയ്ക്കാവുന്ന സിനിമ.

“Last year industry produced above 60 films,out of that 5 only recovered production cost and made profit “.It is being said by our produce association president suresh kumar.He also said the movie”Cycle” was a loss to the producer.
Who all are lying here? We had read in the magazines and newspapers that,it was a success of newcomers.whom should we have to blame for this bad happening?
Everyone would like to say our industry facing to bring out good script.Jagathy said in an interview “Our reading habits are going downward”.Some say”superstar’s remuneration are too high”.We already know the root casue,we knew it sometime back.After all knowing it,still why we dont have enough commonsense to sort it out before involve in the next project.
All talking heads – none of those snobs (yes some of the Mallu stars think they are the world) want to really improve cinema. Like Lal mentioned in an Indiavision interview, he would’ve avoided canning Hariharnagar-2 because direction is a tough task. He gets way too much easy money doing acting, production and distribution – not that he doesn’t deserve it. Once the flow of money drains, they’ll get back to work. Let’s turn to Tamil movies, reality shows, serials and youtube for entertaintment until that happens! The only good thing happening with Malayalam films right now is the musicians and the vocalists.
Film whatever may be the rating I dont care. But i have to tell one thing. I read the comment of Mr. Moorthy, See it is not a big thing to make a fake note. its very simple,because i know that. I was a seller of photocopy machines in Kerala. One of my customer from kottayam i think his name was Mr. Namboodiri, he came to my kottayam office and purchase one hp colour photocopy machine worth 15000 indian rupees. after three month he again came to my office and buy 3 more machines, but i didnt get money, he gave me post dated cheque. After one month in newspaper i found his photo and he was captured by police with a fake notes worth 3 lakhs, with machines. And the case was given to crime branch. Then crime branch calls me for questioning as a witness that he is carrying my invoices. He was making notes with just foil papers. it is not a big thing to make a fake note as you said.
the muvi wz actually gud!!! i went expecting a flop one bt it turned out to be gud!!! oru minute polum bore adikilla…pinne the only minus wz meera nandan’s acting….vere oru kuzhappavumillayirunnu..
