രണ്ടു വരിയില് പറഞ്ഞു തീര്ക്കാവുന്ന കഥയേയുള്ളു ബ്ലെസിയുടെ ഭ്രമരത്തിന്. (ഈ സിനിമയുടെ ശക്തിയും ദൌര്ബല്യവുമായി ഇതു മാറുന്നുമുണ്ട്.) സ്കൂള് പഠനം പൂര്ത്തിയാക്കാത്ത ഒരു ജീപ്പ് ഡ്രൈവറാണ് ഇതിലെ നായകന് ശിവന്കുട്ടി (മോഹന്ലാല്). ശിവന്കുട്ടിയുടെ ഭാര്യയായി വരുന്നത് ഭൂമിക ചൌവ്ല. ഇവര്ക്കൊരു മകള്. ഇവര്ക്കൊപ്പം ശിവന്കുട്ടിയുടെ അമ്മയുമുണ്ട് (കെ പി എ സി ലളിത.) ബാല്യകാലസുഹൃത്തായ ഉണ്ണിയെ (സുരേഷ് മേനോന്) കാണാന് ശിവന്കുട്ടി കോയമ്പത്തൂരില് പോയി മടങ്ങി വരുമ്പോള് സിനിമ പൂര്ത്തിയാകുന്നു. എന്നാല്, അതിനിടെ പലതും സംഭവിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇരുവരേയും അലോസരപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് ഭൂതകാലം അവര്ക്കിടയിലേക്ക് കടന്നുവരുന്നുമുണ്ട്.
PLUSES
നല്ലൊരു സിനിമയ്ക്കു വേണ്ടിയുള്ള കൂട്ടായ ശ്രമം ഭ്രമരത്തില് കാണാം. ഒരു നടനെന്ന നിലയിലുള്ള കഴിവ് പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കാന് മോഹന്ലാലിന് ഏറെക്കാലം കൂടി നല്ലൊരു അവസരം കിട്ടി. ലാല് അതു നന്നായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ലക്ഷ്മി ഗോപാലസ്വാമി, മുരളീകൃഷ്ണന് തുടങ്ങിയവരും തങ്ങളുടെ ചെറുതല്ലാത്ത വേഷങ്ങള് മനോഹരമാക്കി. ആദ്യപകുതി ബ്ലെസി അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് ഒരു Excellent സിനിമയ്ക്കുള്ള അടിത്തറ ഒരുക്കിക്കൊണ്ടാണ്. അജയന് വിന്സന്റിന്റെ ക്യാമറ ഒരു നല്ല സിനിമ അര്ഹിക്കുന്ന മികവോടെ ദൃശ്യങ്ങള് പകര്ത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
MINUSES
ആദ്യപകുതിയിലെ ഊര്ജം സിനിമയുടെ രണ്ടാം പകുതിയില് നിലനിര്ത്താന് കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല. ചില സ്ഥലങ്ങളില് ചെറുതായി ഇഴയുന്ന ചിത്രം, ക്ലൈമാക്സില് പിടി വിട്ടു പോകുന്നതുപോലെ തോന്നുന്നുമുണ്ട്. ശിവന്കുട്ടിയുടെ മകളായി വരുന്ന പെണ്കുട്ടിയും അതിന്റെ അഭിനയവും അതിദയനീയം. ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ അന്ത്യത്തിന് ചെറിയൊരു വ്യത്യസ്തത അവകാശപ്പെടാമെങ്കിലും അതിനു തൊട്ടുമുന്പുള്ള മെലോഡ്രാമ നിറഞ്ഞ സീനുകള് പഴകി തേഞ്ഞതും അതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നെ ബോറടിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുമാണ്.

ബ്ലെസി അല്പം കൂടി തല പുകച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില് ക്ലാസിക് ആകുമായിരുന്ന ചിത്രം.

After the movie what one remebers is only Mohanlal’s performance. Hats off to the actor for his wonderful performance. About the movie, its an average movie based on a small thread elaborated to 2.5 hr big screen movie. Director Blessy has yet again proved to spread Padmarajan’s magic.

ഒരു ശരാശരി സിനിമ..ബ്രമരം എന്ന പേര് ഈ പടത്തിന് എന്ത് കൊണ്ട നല്കി എന്ന് ഞാന് പടം കണ്ടു തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോള് മുതല് ആലോചികുകയാണ്.ചില അവസരങ്ങളില് ലാലേട്ടന്റെ ചെവിയില് വണ്ട് പോയ പോലെ തോനുന്ന കാരണമാണോ?? ഇത് വരെ മലയാള സിനിമ കാണാത്ത ലോകഷന്സ് കൊണ്ട് ഈ പടം
നയനാനന്തകാരമാണ് .ഡോപ്പ് അജയന് വിന്സിന്റ്റ് തന്റെ പ്രധിഭ തെളിയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.ബ്ലെസി ഒരു മികച്ച ഡയറക്ടര് ആണെങ്കിലും ഒരു തിരകഥകൃത്ത് എന്ന നിലയില് അദേഹത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യ പടങ്ങളില് നിന്നും വളരെ താഴേക്ക് പോയിരിക്കുന്നു.നല്ല ഗാനങ്ങളൊന്നും ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന് അവകാശപ്പെടാനില്ല.വെറുതെ ഭൂമിക ചൌളയെ കാശ് കൊടുത്തു വരുത്തി..വയറു കാണിച്ചു പാട്ട് സീനില് അഭിനയിക്കാന് ഇപ്പൊ മലയാളത്തില് തന്ന്നെ ഇസ്തം പോലെ നടിമാരുണ്ട്.ഒരു റോഡ് മൂവി എന്ന് വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കാവുന്ന ചിത്രം.നാലഞ്ചു വയസുള്ള കുട്ടി അച്ഛന് കൊലപതകിയനെന്നു പറഞ്ഞു കരയുന്നതും കൊല്ലാന് വരുന്നതായി സ്വപ്നം കാണുന്നതും ഉള്കൊള്ളാന് ചെറിയ ഒരു ബുദ്ധിമുട്ട്.ഏറെ മെച്ചപെടുത്തമായിരുന്ന ഒരു ചിത്രം…ക്ലൈമാക്സ് എന്തൊക്കെയോ ആയി പോയില്ലേ എന്ന് തോന്നി പോകുന്നു..
പടം ഓക്കേ ആണെന്ന് പറയാം … പക്ഷെ ലാലിന്റെ അഭിനയം സൂപ്പര് .. അത് കാണാന് കയറിയാല് നഷ്ട്ടം ഇല്ല … അല്ലെങ്കില് പകുതി പൈസ കിട്ടും ….
കണ്ടു മടുത്ത മോഹന്ലാല് പ്രകടനം. കഴിഞ്ഞ 25 വര്ഷമായി മോഹന്ലാല് കാണിക്കുന്ന അതെ പ്രകടനം. puthuma ഇല്ലാത്ത തിരക്കഥ. ഭൂമിക കാണിക്കുന്ന ചില സെക്സ് പരമായ കാഴ്ചകള് കാരണം കുടമ്പതോടെ കാണാന് പറ്റില്ല. ദയവു ചെയ്തു ആരും മക്കളോട് കൂടി ഈ പടം കാണാന് പോകരുത്.
ഭ്രമരം മലയാളികളെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. ബ്ലെസി എന്ന സംവിധായകന് നല്ല സിനിമയുടെ പ്രണയിതാക്കളെ മലയാള സിനിമയുടെ ഭാവിയില് പ്രത്യാശ ഉള്ളവരാക്കുന്നു. കാഴ്ചയും, തന്മാത്രയും, പളുങ്കും, കല്ക്കട്ട ന്യൂസും പ്രേക്ഷകരിലേക്ക് പകര്ന്ന ആ ഒരു വിറയുണ്ടല്ലോ, അത് ഭ്രമരവും നമ്മെ അനുഭവിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. ചെറിയൊരു കഥയെ ശക്തമായ ഒരു ദൃശ്യ ഭാഷയില് അവതരിപ്പിക്കാന് ബ്ലെസ്സിക്ക് കഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. താന് അടവുകള് പഠിച്ച ഗുരുവര്യന്മാരുടെ കളരിയില് നിന്നും മലയാള സിനിമയിലേക്ക് ഒരു കാലത്ത് നിരന്തരം പുറത്തു വന്നു കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന പരുക്കനായ ജീവിത മുഹൂര്ത്തങ്ങള് ഭ്രമരം എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ പുനരാനയിക്കാന് ബ്ലെസ്സി ശ്രമിച്ചു. അതില് വിജയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ത്രസിപ്പിക്കുന്ന രംഗങ്ങളിലൂടെ നിഗൂഡമായ ഒരു മനുഷ്യ ജന്മത്തിന്റെ അനുഭവ ചിത്രങ്ങള് ബ്ലെസ്സി അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. ശുദ്ധമായ ഈ സിനിമാ കാഴ്ച ഒരു അഭിനേതാവ് എന്താണ്, എങ്ങനെയാണ്, എന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ചും വിലപ്പെട്ട പാഠങ്ങള് അഭിനയ കലയിലെ പുതു തലമുറയ്ക്ക് നല്കുന്നു. ലാല്, ബ്ലെസ്സി അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങള്.

എല്ലാം കൊണ്ടും ഒരു നല്ല സിനിമ എന്ന് പറയാൻ കഴിയില്ല. പക്ഷെ അടുത്ത് ഇറങ്ങിയ മലയാള സിനിമകളിൽ വച്ച് നല്ലതാണ്.മോഹൻലാലീന്റെ അഭിനയം ആണ് സിനിമയെ രക്ഷിക്കുന്നത്.
സ്വപ്ന,
ഈ റിവ്യുവിന്റെ കമന്റുകളില് അനുവദിക്കാനാകാത്ത ചില പ്രവണതകള് കാണുന്നുണ്ട്. ഏതെങ്കിലും സിനിമ കൂവിത്തോല്പിക്കാന് തിയേറ്ററില് കയറുന്നവരുടെ സംസ്കാരമാണ് പടം ഫ്ളോപ്പ്, തകര്ന്നു, തിയേറ്ററില് ആളില്ല, കുടുംബത്തോടെ കാണാന് കൊള്ളില്ല തുടങ്ങിയ വിളിച്ചുപറച്ചിലുകള് സാക്ഷ്യപ്പെടുത്തുന്നത്. നിര്ദ്ദോഷമായ അഭിപ്രായങ്ങള് സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്യാം. ദയവായി ഇത്തരം കൂവിവിളിക്കലുകളെ മോഡറേറ്റ് ചെയ്ത് തടയണമെന്ന് അഭ്യര്ഥിക്കുന്നു. തിയേറ്ററില് കയറി കൂവിവിളിക്കുന്നവര്ക്ക് അതാവര്ത്തിക്കാനുള്ള സ്ഥലമല്ല ഇതെന്നു ദയവായി പറഞ്ഞു മനസ്സിലാക്കിക്കൊടുക്കണം. ഭാഗ്യദേവതയുടെ കാര്യത്തില് ഇടപെട്ടതുപോലെ.

Blessy has stamped his signature on BHRAMARAM. A simple story, it has lots of emotions, wonderful frames and some haunting moments. Still, in the end, it is Mohanlal’s power packed performance that is the real strength of the film. Mohanlal puts in his heart and soul to get into the shoes of his character. Among the best things about the film is the camera work by Ajayan Vincent that adds to the mood of the story in a huge way. Surely, this film & Mohanlal will haunt you even after you come out of the theatre.

മലയാള സിനിമയ്ക്കു മലയാളിത്തം നഷ്റ്റമായി എന്നു പരയുന്നുവര്ക്കുള്ള ബ്ലെസ്സിയുടെ മരുപടിയാണ് ഈ ചിത്രം .
Mohan lal proving he is finest actor in malayalm through this movie. Hero character’s mental feelings is conveyed effectively by lal. Blessy once again proving he is one of the best directors of malayalam movie industry.
The camera is excellent. Two songs in the movie are also good. The child actress acted as the daughter of lal performed badly. Her dog acted better than her performance.
There are less number of characters in this movie. But there are importance for each of these characters.
Blessy himself is the hero and the villain of the movie.Seems to have lost the plot in between.Superb camera,nice songs and terrific performances from the cast except the littile girl who did lal’s daughter’s character.Blessy should have looked more into the BG score and sound recording.(remember the excellent work in kazhcha & palunku).Sure,the movie is worth a watch.once again kudos to lal and ajayan vincent for their excellent work.But we always expect more from blessy.
Good Film… But lacks good casts except Mohanlal….
Good film. Casting is good expect for lal’s daughter.(horrible performance from that child). Mohanlal and KPSC Lalitha are suerb. KPSC Lalitha’s performance in this film will be remembered for long. The others in the film has to learn a lot from these two.
FOR PROOVING THE TALENT OF MOHANLAL THERE IS NO NEED TO HAVE SUCH A FILM. COMPARING THANMATHRA ,ITHU ORU BORU PADAMANU, ALSO BHOOMIKA IS NOT APT AS FARMER LADY. SO BLESSY IS FOUND TO BE HAVE ONLY SINGLE TASTE, ie SENTIMENTS
as moorthy said we can say the story in just two sentences.that is why its tooo boring to sit more than 2 hours in theatre.

1. some graphics problem.
2. Lalettans daughter cast(realy avoidable).

ലാലേട്ടന് പെര്ഫോര്മന്സ് അസ്സലായി. നോക്കുകുത്തി പോലെ അഭിനയിച്ച പടങ്ങളില് നിന്നൊരു മോചനം തന്നെ ആണ് ഈ ഫിലിം ലാലേട്ടന്. പക്ഷെ തടി കുറച്ചേ പറ്റു….
മറ്റൊരു കാര്യം ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു. ഒരുപാടു കാലത്തിനു ശേഷം നന്ദകുമാറിന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേള്ക്കാന് കഴിഞ്ഞത് വളരെ സന്തോഷം തോന്നി…ഞാന് ഗന്ധര്വനില് നമ്മള് കേട്ട ഗന്ധര്വ സബ്ദം വീണ്ടും…(ശിവന്കുട്ടിയുടെ കുട്ടുകാരന് ഉണ്ണിയുടെ സബ്ദം) dubbing മേഖലയില് വീണ്ടും സജീവമാകണമെന്നു നന്ടുവിനോട് ഒരു അഭ്യര്ത്ഥന…സംവിധായകരും ശ്രധിക്കുമല്ലോ…
ഷൈനി ജോകൊസ്, കുവൈറ്റ്
Blessy, look at the movie objectively and decide for yourself if you’re happy. As movies go, it’s ok. But as a Blessy movie, it’s more a ‘paandi’ kind of movie- overstretched story line, obese hero(well, maybe not, it’s our lalu afterall, fat or not), uncalled for dishum-dishum, credit only for wannabe northie actress while excellent Laxmi Gopalswami performance is never mentioned in promos. But congrats for getting great acting out of new faces and kids.
You are capable of much better,Blessy, don’t take the plaudits to heart. And Lal, you are a great actor, but you are definitely NOT a sight for sore eyes.

സിനിമ കണ്ടു.നല്ല ഒരു ഇതിവൃത്തം ഉണ്ട് പദത്തില്.പക്ഷെ രണ്ടു മണിക്കൂര് പ്രേക്ഷകര്ക്കിരിക്കാന് പറ്റുന്ന രീതിയില് കൊണ്ട് വരാന് ബ്ലെസ്സിക്ക് കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല എന്ന് വേണം പറയാന്.പെട്ടെന്ന് തീരന്നിരുന്നേന്കില് എന്ന് പ്രേക്ഷകര് ആശിച്ചു പോകുന്ന കുറെ നിമിഷങ്ങള് .മോഹന്ലാല് പല ഭാവങ്ങളും കാനിക്കുന്നുന്ടെന്കിലും അതൊക്കെ ആ കഥാപാത്രത്തിനു യോജിച്ചതാണോ എന്ന് ഒരു സംശയം .രേതിംഗ് ഗുഡ് എന്ന് കൊടുത്തത് അതിശയിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

തുടക്കം മുതല് അവസാനം വരെ സസ്പെന്സ് നിലനിര്ത്തുന്ന ഒരു ചിത്രം. അമാനിഷികതയും കോമാളിതതരവും കാണിച്ച് സിനിമ എടുക്കുന്ന കോമളികള്ക്ക് കണ്ടുപഠിക്കാന് പറ്റിയ സിനിമ. എങ്കിലും, ഗ്രാഫിക്സ് എങ്ങിനെ നന്നായി ഉപയോഗിക്കാമെന്ന് മലയാള സിനിമ ഇനിയും പഠിക്കേണ്ടി ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

കൊള്ളാവുന്ന ഒരു ഫിലിം… എവിടെ ഒക്കെയോ താഴ്വാരം എന്ന ഭരതന് ചിത്രം ഓര്മിപ്പിക്കും എങ്ങിലും കണ്ടിരിക്കാം. എവിടെ ഒക്കെയോ തിരക്കഥ കൈ വിട്ടു പോകുന്നു.. മോഹന് ലാല് ന്റൈ മകള് തീരെ ബോര് ആണ്.. പക്ഷെ ബേബി നിവേദിത കൊള്ളാം. മോസ് ആന്ഡ് ക്യാറ്റ് -ഇല് കണ്ടപ്പോള് ബോര് ആയി തോന്നിയ കുട്ടി ആണ്. പിന്നെ വേണം എങ്കില് “BUTTERFLY ON A WHEEL” എന്ന ഫിലിം ഒന്ന് കണ്ടു നോക്കാവുന്നതാണ്. ക്ലൈമാക്സ് വിട്ടേക്കുക.. ഒരു പക്ഷെ ആ BUTTERFLY ആയിരിക്കും ഈ വണ്ട് (ഭ്രമരം)
ക്യാമറ തന്നെ ആണ് പ്ലസ് പോയിന്റ്. പിന്നെ ലൊക്കേഷന് . പിന്നെ മോഹന്ലാല്. മോഹന്ലാല് ന്റൈ FRIENDS നെ കണ്ടാല് അവര് ഒരു ഡിവിഷന് വ്യത്യാസത്തില് സ്കൂളില് പഠിച്ചവര് ആണെന്ന് തോന്നില്ല. സുരേഷ് മേനോന് ന്റൈ റോള് SIDHIQ ആയിരുന്നെങ്ങില് കുറെ കൂടി നന്നാവും എന്ന് തോന്നി. മുരളീ കൃഷ്ണന് നന്നായി. ലക്ഷ്മി ഗോപാലസ്വാമി മിതത്വം പാലിച്ചു.
GOOD MOVIE, MOHANLAL, BABY NIVEDITA, SURESH MENON, KPAC LALITHA AND MURALI KRISHNA HAVE PERFORMED WELL. IN FACT LAL IS EXCELLENT. BLESSY’S DIRECTION IS GREAT – SCREEN PLAY COULD HAVE BEEN SLIGHTLY IMPROVED. CAMERA WORK IS OUTSTANDING. BETTER THAN THE REST OF MOVIES PRESENTLY SCREENING.

In hindi,there is an already a remake (Zinda). In both malayalam and hindi ,makers has changed a lot for adatping to the culture.
