മൈക്ക് എന്ന പീലിപ്പോസ് (മമ്മൂട്ടി) ഇടുക്കിയിലെ ഒരു നാട്ടുമ്പുറത്തു നിന്ന് നഗരത്തിലെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത് മേനോന് സാറിന് (ശശികുമാര്) വൃക്ക നല്കാനാണ്. അതിന്റെ രണ്ടു ലക്ഷം രൂപ കിട്ടിയിട്ടു വേണം മൈക്കിന് പണയത്തിലായ കിടപ്പാടം തിരിച്ചെടുക്കാന്. ഓപ്പറേഷന് വരെ മൈക്ക് തനിക്കൊപ്പം നഗരത്തിലെ ഫ്ലാറ്റില് താമസിക്കട്ടെയെന്ന് മേനോന് തീരുമാനിക്കുന്നു. ഉച്ചത്തില് സംസാരിക്കുന്ന മൈക്കും അതിനേക്കാള് ഉച്ചത്തില് പാടുന്ന മൈക്കിന്റെ റേഡിയോയും ഫ്ലാറ്റിലെ അന്തേവാസികള്ക്ക് പിടിക്കുന്നില്ല. നഗരജീവിതത്തിന്റെ വികാരരഹിതമായ നിയമങ്ങള് മൈക്കിനും പിടികിട്ടുന്നില്ല. തോപ്രാംകുടിക്കാരനായ മൈക്കിനെ നഗരവാസിയാക്കാന് ഫ്ലാറ്റിലെ അന്തേവാസികളും നാട്ടുജീവിതം നഗരത്തില് നടാന് മൈക്കും തുനിയുന്നിടത്ത് സംഘര്ഷം ആരംഭിക്കുന്നു. മണ്ണും ജീവിതവും വിട്ട് ആകാശമെന്ന അയഥാര്ഥ്യത്തിലേക്ക് തല നീട്ടി നില്ക്കുന്ന നഗരത്തെ മൈക്ക് മണ്ണിലേക്ക് പിടിച്ചടുപ്പിക്കുന്ന കാഴ്ചയാണ് പിന്നീട് നമ്മള് കാണുന്നത്. ആ മാറ്റം മനുഷ്യരിലേക്കും സംക്രമിക്കുന്ന മനോഹരമായ ഒരുപാട് മുഹൂര്ത്തങ്ങളിലൂടെ ഈ ചിത്രം പൂര്ത്തിയാകുന്നു.

വിവിധ മാനങ്ങളുള്ള, ഏറെ ആഴങ്ങളുള്ള വളരെ വലിയ ഒരു പ്രമേയം, ലളിതമായൊരു കഥാതന്തുവില് കൊരുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന സുന്ദരമായ ചിത്രമാണ് ജയരാജിന്റെ ലൌഡ് സ്പീക്കര്. മമ്മൂട്ടിയും ശശികുമാറും ഇതില് മത്സരിച്ച് അഭിനയിക്കുന്നു; അഭിനയിക്കുകയാണെന്ന് ഒട്ടും തോന്നലുണ്ടാക്കാതെ. മൈക്കും മേനോനുമായി മറ്റാരെയും സങ്കല്പിക്കാന് കഴിയില്ല; അത്ര മികച്ച പ്രകടനം. മൈക്കിന്റെ ഡയലോഗുകള് പലതും പൊട്ടിച്ചിരിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനൊപ്പം ജീവിതം ~ അതെത്ര വഷളായിരിക്കുമ്പോഴും ~ ലളിതവും സുന്ദരവുമാണെന്ന് നമ്മെ ഓര്മിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. (തമാശക്കാരനാകാന് മമ്മൂട്ടി കോമാളിവേഷങ്ങള് ആടേണ്ട കാര്യമില്ല എന്ന് തെളിയിക്കുന്നുമുണ്ട് ഈ ചിത്രം.) അനില് പനച്ചൂരാന് – ബിജി ബാല് ടീമിന്റെ നല്ല ഗാനങ്ങള് ഈ സിനിമയുടെ ചന്തം കൂട്ടുന്നുണ്ട്.

സ്പോട്ട് റെക്കോഡിങ് എങ്ങനെ കുളമാക്കാം എന്നതിന് മലയാളസിനിമ കണ്ട ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച ഉദാഹരണമായിട്ടുണ്ട് ലൌഡ് സ്പീക്കര്. ഡബ്ബിങ് കണ്ടുപിടിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്ത കാലത്തു പോലും ഇത്ര നല്ല ഉദാഹരണങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടായിക്കാണാന് വഴിയില്ല. പലപ്പോഴും ഡയലോഗുകള് ഊഹിച്ചെടുക്കേണ്ടി വരും; പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് കൊച്ചിന് ഹനീഫയും സലിം കുമാറും പറയുന്നത്. (ഈ പ്രശ്നം പരിഹരിച്ച പ്രിന്റുകള് വരുന്നുണ്ടെന്നാണ് കേട്ടത്.) സുരാജ് വെഞ്ഞാറമൂടിന്റെ കൌണ്സിലര് ഒഴിവാക്കാമായിരുന്ന കഥാപാത്രമാണ്. ജഗതി ശ്രീകുമാര് അവതരിപ്പിച്ച ഫ്ലാറ്റ് സെക്രട്ടറിയും പാളുന്നുണ്ട്; പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് സുരാജിന്റെ കഥാപാത്രത്തിനൊപ്പം കൂടുമ്പോള്.

പൌലൊ കൊയ്ലോയുടെ നോവലുകള് പോലെ, പ്രത്യാശയുടെയും സ്നേഹത്തിന്റെയും തെളിനീരൊഴുക്കുകളിലൂടെ ജീവിതത്തെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്ന സിനിമ.

ഇന്ദുലേഖയുടെ അഭിപ്രായം തന്നെയാണ് എന്റെയും. അതായത് നല്ല ഒരു സിനിമ.
മമ്മൂട്ടി നന്നായി ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നാല് ഫസ്റ്റ് ഹാഫ് നന്നായി വലിപ്പിച്ചു. വലിപ്പിക്കുവാന് വേണ്ടി കുറെ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളും. കല്പന, ഭീമന് രഘു, ജഗതി, സുരാജ്(സുരാജിന്റെ തമാശ നന്നായിട്ട്ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും) അങ്ങിനെഅങ്ങിനെ… എന്നാല് രണ്ടാം പകുതി നന്നായിട്ടുണ്ട്. remix ഗാനങ്ങളും ഭംഗിയാക്കി എടുക്കാം എന്ന് “അല്ലിയാമ്പല്”:തെളിയിച്ചു . മൊത്തത്തില് നല്ല ഒരു സിനിമ. My verdict- GOOD
നല്ല സിനിമ..ഫസ്റ്റ് ഹാഫ് കുറച്ചു കൂടി നന്നായിരുന്നു എങ്കില് ക്ലാസ്സിക് ആകുമായിരുന്നു.ശശികുമാര് ,മമ്മൂട്ടി എന്നിവര് നന്നായി,നല്ല ചായാഗ്രഹണം ,നല്ല ഗാനങ്ങള്

I didn’t expected such a big foolishness from indulekha.. how can you rate this movie to excellent? There is nothing to say that it is a excellent movie.. First half.. oh terrible i can’t even imagine how i sit in theatre yesterday night. The only thing is “Mammootty’ he done a good job. others especially jagathy, kalpana, that kid, etc very boring charectors and salim kumar also. I went theatre because of jayaraj, no one expected such thing from a award winning director. Unwanted comedy scenes. In this film also mammukka has tried to act as a pakka comedian but failed. only the portion where he say his name and old stories were delightful, when playing with kids oh, can’t believe that he is over acting.. Saying all these with respect to mammukka and jayaraj..
Only good thing is that it’s good theme.. must be appreciated.
ഓ സംഗീത്തെ ഇത്ര വേണോ?തങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഇനി എങ്ങനത്തെ സിനെമയനവോ കാണേണ്ടത്?ജയരരജ്ന്റെ സിനിമ ആയതുകൊണ്ടാണ് പോയത് എന്ന് കണ്ടു,റൈന് റൈന് പിന്നെ സുരേഷ്ഗോപി പടം ഇതിന്റെയോകെ മേന്മ കൊണ്ടാണോ പോയത്!സഹോദര ഒരു സിനിമ കാണുമ്പോ അതിലെ കഥപ്രട്രതെ കാണു,അല്ലാതെ ആക്ടര് നെ കുറ്റം പറയാതെ.മനസിലെ നന്മകള് നശിക്യുബോഴാ നമ്മുക്ക് ഇങ്ങനെയോകെയുള്ള കഥ ബോറടികുനത്!

റിവ്യൂ നന്നായിട്ടുണ്ട്. Excellent അല്പം കടന്നു പോയെങ്കിലും Good എന്നതില് പെടുത്താവുന്ന ഒരു സിനിമ.
• സ്പോട്ട് ഡബ്ബിംഗ് മൂലമുള്ള ശബ്ദവ്യതിയാനങ്ങള് എനിക്ക് രസകരമായാണ് തോന്നിയത്. കഥാപാത്രങ്ങള് എവിടെ നിന്നു പറഞ്ഞാലും വളരെ വ്യക്തമായി കേള്ക്കുന്നതിലും നന്ന് ഇതു തന്നെ. (ഡയലോഗൊന്നും കേള്ക്കാന് ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുള്ളതായി എനിക്കു തോന്നിയില്ല. ഓരോരുത്തരുടേയും കേള്വിശക്തി ഏറിയും കുറഞ്ഞുമിരിക്കുമല്ലോ, അതാവുമോ കാരണം?)

ആര്ട്ട് സിനിമകള് എടുക്കുന്നവര് ഈ സിനിമ ഒരു refference ആയി എടുക്കുക . എലിപത്തായം, കൊടിയേറ്റം, പോലുള്ള സിനിമകള് ഞങ്ങളെ തിയേറ്ററില് നിന്നും അകറ്റി.ജീവിതത്തില് പോലും ഇല്ലാത്ത നിശബ്ദത ഇങ്ങനത്തെ ഈ ചിത്രങ്ങല്ക്കുണ്ടായിരുന്നു .ലൌട് സ്പീകേര് പോലുള്ള ചിത്രങ്ങല്ക്കെ ഇനി എവിടെയോ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടുപോയ ആ കലാ ഹൃദയം തിരികെ കൊണ്ടുവരാന് കഴിയു ഇത് മനുഷ്യ നന്മ highlight ചെയ്യുന്ന ജീവിത ഗന്ധിയായ ഒരു സിനിമ . നല്ല മനസ്സുള്ള, നന്മ നശിക്കാത്ത ഒരാള്ക്കും ഈ ചിത്രം മോശമാണെന്ന് പറയാന് കഴിയില്ല.

As you rated,its an excellent film.A film that can be viewed with family and it touches our heart.Thats what the cinemas are meant for.Mammooty at his best.Great direction by Jayaraj.Good music.Good picturisation.I feel I can see the film once more.
Yes It is very good malayalam film in recent times. I am having almost same opinion as indulekha review about the movie. I could find some funny comments on film purely based on fanship .,like Mammootty comedy scenes are boring ,movie is average. really funny.
anyway good review from Indulekha and movie deserves it. Theatre responses says the same. Big theatre like EKM shenoys going with House full collection for many shows for this small film with out any masala elements is reallly encouraging.

ലൌട്സ്പീകേര് എന്നാ ഫിലിം മലയാളം ഫിലിം ഇന്നേവരെ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്ത ഒരു അനുഭവമാണ് നല്കുന്നത് ,,,,ഇതുപോലുള്ള ചിത്രമാണ് നമുക്ക് ആവിശ്യം..മമ്മൂട്ടിയെന്ന നടന്റെ അതുല്യ പ്രകടനം കണ്ടപ്പോള് തോന്നി ഒരു ആക്ടര് എന്നാല് ഇങ്ങനെയൊക്കെ ചെയ്യണോ എന്ന് അത്ര്യക്കും ഗംഭീര പ്രകടനമാണ് മമ്മൂട്ടിയുടെത് … തീര്ച്ചയായും ഈ ഫിലിം മലയാളത്തിനു അഭിമാനമാണ് … ഐ ഗിവ് GRATE

Dear pradeesh, i’m here not for a debate, i just said what i had to say about the film. I’m not blaming Mammukka.. because according to me he is one of the greatest actor in Indian film, no one can act better than him (the charectors which played by him) really i went theatre because of director jayaraj, because i thought it will be a good classic with all perfection. He is considered as the best director in malayalam film industry who dare to make changes in regular film making. And this one with mammukka i thought a better film. I mean it doesn’t satisfied me only (not the all audience like you). For you people (I think you people are best) it may be good movie. it depends upon your taste.. & one more thing for your knowledge, my anytime favorite movie is Sooryamanasam.. Now you say.. how can i blame mammukka?
WATCHABLE MOVIE.Mammukka super and his slang superb.
ഒരു നല്ല സിനിമ. മമ്മൂട്ടി നല്ല അഭിനയം കാഴ്ച വച്ചു. മമ്മൂട്ടി ഫാമിലി and ക്ലാസ്സിക് ചിത്രങ്ങളില് തിരിച്ചു വന്നതില് അതിയായ സന്തോഷമുണ്ട്. ചില കഥാപാത്രങ്ങള് മുഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നു എന്നല്ലാതെ മറ്റു പാളിച്ചകള് ഇതിലില്ല. ഹൃദയസ്പര്ഷമായ nostalgic സീനുകള് ഇതില് ഏറെയുണ്ട്. excellent എന്ന rating ഒട്ടും കുറഞ്ഞു പോയിട്ടില്ല.

Mammutty എന്നാ nadante eettavum valiya പ്രത്യേഗത എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നത്, അധേഹതിന്ടെ cick aaya cinemakalil മമ്മുട്ടി എന്നാ വ്യക്തി ഇല്ല.kadhapathram mathramaanu , for ex:- തനിയാവര്ത്തനത്തിലെ ബാലന് Mash , Valsalyathile Meeledathu രാഘവന് നായര് , അമരത്തിലെ അച്ചുട്ടി ,Mrigayayile Varunni , ന്യൂ Delhiyile G.K, Kazhchayile Madhavan , Hitlar Madhavan Kutti , Kottayam Kunjachan , Bellari Raja , Chandu…………. ഇങ്ങനെ Neendu pookunnu aa nira.mattethu നടനീക്കളും kadhapathram ( അതിന്റെ പേര് Ulppede ) നമ്മുടെ മനസ്സില് നില്ക്കുന്ന ഒരു നടന Vismayamaanu മമ്മുട്ടി…അതില് cheerkkan പറ്റുന്ന onnanu Maiku Philipos……Iniyum ഇത് pooleyulla character Kittatte എന്ന് aashamsikkunnu……
ഇവിടെ പലരും പറയുന്നു വളരെ കാലത്തിനു ശേഷം മമ്മൂക്കയെ നമുക്ക് തിരികെ കിട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് .ഒരു കാര്യം നമ്മള് മറന്നു പോകുന്നു ഇതുപോലെയുള്ള ചിത്രങ്ങളില് മാത്രം അഭിനയിച്ചാല് മമ്മൂക്ക പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ വിടിളിരികേണ്ടി വരും കാരണം ഇ ചിത്രം വിജയിച്ചതുപോലെ മറ്റു ചിത്രങ്ങളും വിജയികനമെനില്ല പറഞ്ഞു വരുനത് മമ്മൂക്ക കളി അറിയുന്നവന. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നല്ലതുപോലെ അറിയാം സമയാസമയം മലയാളികള്ക്ക് ഇഷ്ട്ടപെടുന്ന രുച്ച്ിയില് വച്ചു വിളമ്പി തരുവാന്. അത് കൊണ്ട്കൂടി തന്നെയനാലോ അദ്ദേഹം മുടിചൂടാ മന്നനായി വിലസുനത് എബൌട്ട് ദി ലൌട്സ്പെകേര്. മമ്മൂക്ക ഇതില് മൈക്ക് ഗോപാലനായി ശരിക്കും നമ്മളെ വിസ്മയിപികുന്ന്നു .ശശികുമാരും ഒട്ടും മോശമല്ല ജയ്രഞെട്ടനും കലക്കി .

The film is excellent.Great craft by Jayaraj who moulded the charcters.Mamooka was living as Mike and equaly good by Sasikumar. Music very lovely and I liked the sound recording.It projected the goodness in human hearts and how it can affect the minds.A great film for the families.

തികച്ചും ആകസ്മികമായാണ് ഞാന് ഈ ചിത്രം കാണാന് ഇടയായത്. വളരെയധികം വര്ഷങ്ങള്ക്കു ശേഷമാണ് മമ്മൂട്ടിയില് നിന്നും നല്ല ഒരു സിനിമ വരുന്നത്. ഒരു പ്രതീക്ഷയുമില്ലാതെയാണ് മമ്മൂട്ടിയുടെ ഈ ചിത്രം ഞാന് കാണ്ടത്. പക്ഷെ അത്ഭുതമെന്നു പറയട്ടെ, മമ്മൂട്ടി അനായാസമായാണ് അഭിനയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. കാഴ്ചയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം മമ്മൂട്ടിയുടെ കറ കളഞ്ഞ അഭിനയമാണ് നടത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. മമ്മൂട്ടി നല്ല പടങ്ങള് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു അഭിനയച്ചാല്, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കരിയറില് നല്ല മാറ്റം സംഭവിക്കും.
ഒന്നാം പകുതിയില്, ജഗതിയുടെ തമാശകള് വളരെ അലോസരമായി തോന്നിയെങ്കിലും, മറ്റു നടന്മാരുടെ തമാശ അത്യന്തം ചിരി ഉണര്ത്താന് കഴിഞ്ഞു. ശശികുമാറും നന്നായി അഭിനയിച്ചു. ആനി എന്ന കഥാപാത്രം അവതരിപ്പിക്കാന് bollywoodil നിന്നും ഒരു നടിയെ കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ട ആവശ്യം തോന്നിയില്ല, എന്നാല് കൂടി ആ കഥാപാത്രം നന്നായിരുന്നു. സംഗീതവും നന്നായിരുന്നു. ബിജി ബാല് “അല്ലിയാമ്പല്” നന്നായി remix ചെയ്തു. ജയരാജിനും കൂട്ടര്ക്കും അത് നന്നായി ചിത്രീകരിക്കാനും സാധിച്ചു. ഗാനങ്ങള് എല്ലാം ഒന്നിനൊന്നു മെച്ചം. അനില് പനച്ചൂരാന്റെ വരികള് നന്നായിട്ടുണ്ട്. മമ്മൂട്ടി നന്നായി കോമഡി അവിതരിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. സ്പൊട്ട് ട്ബ്ബിംഗ് nannaayittilla എന്ന് വേണം പറയാന്. മൂര്ത്തി സര് പറഞ്ഞ മാതിരി തന്നെയാണ്.
പടം തീരുമ്പോള് നമ്മുടെ മനസ്സില് മമ്മൂട്ടിയുടെ മൈക്കും ശശികുമാറിന്റെ മേനോന് സാറും ഈ കാലഘട്ടത്തില് അന്യം നിന്ന്ന പോകുന്ന നന്മയുടെ പ്രതീകങ്ങളായി നമ്മുടെ മനസ്സില് അവശേഷിക്കും.
beautiful film with lot of innocense, love & honestness of village. this is the best from jeyaraj. only problem with this movie is its dubbing. some times it is not clear enough. good acting from mamooty & sasikumar.film creates nostalgic feeling. good use of old hit song ‘alliyambal’.
It is a good movie, all comments should be good for Malayalam cinema and Malayalees.

A must watch movie.
എന്താണ്ടോ ഈ സിനിമയില് ഇത്ര excellent എന്ന് പറയാന് ഉള്ളത്…? ഒരുത്തന് വൃക്ക കൊടുക്കാന് വരുന്നു…..കൊടുത്ത ശേഷം അവനെ തേടി മറ്റേയാള് പോകുന്നു …..അവന് മറ്റവനെ എടുതുയര്തുന്നിടത് പടം അവസാനിക്കുന്നു……ഇതിനിടയില് ജഗതി,സുരാജ്,സലിം എന്നിവരുടെ ചളി comediyum…….

U can’t sit two and half hour in the theater watching this film. I lost 50 rupees

നല്ല സിനിമ… എനിക്കിഷ്ടമായി.. മമ്മൂട്ടി നല്ല അഭിനയം.. എല്ലാം കോണ്ടും
6.5/10 മാർക്ക് നൽകാം.. ലൈവ് സൗണ്ട് റെക്കോർഡിങ്ങ് ഒഴിവാക്കിയിരുന്നേൽ 7 മാർക്ക് കൊടുക്കാം.. ലൈവ് റെക്കോർഡിങ്ങ് നല്ല രീതിയിൽ ചെയ്തിരുന്നെൽ 8 മാർക്ക് കൊടുക്കാം..ചില പോരായ്മകളുണ്ട്..എന്നിരുന്നാലും ഇയിടെ ഇറങ്ങിയ സിനിമകൾ വച്ച് നോക്കുമ്പോൾ എത്രയോ നല്ലതാണ്…
ഈ സിനിമയെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള റിവ്യ്വുവും അഭിപ്രായങ്ങളും ഒക്കെ വായിച്ചതിനു ശേഷമാണ് സിനിമ കണ്ടത്. അത് കൊണ്ടായിരിക്കാം നാട്ടിന്പുറത്തിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധിയും, ഗ്രാമീണന്റെ നിഷ്കളങ്കതയുമെല്ലാം ഇപ്പോഴും ഭംഗിയായി വിറ്റുപോകുന്നല്ലോ എന്നോരത്ഭുതമാണ് ആദ്യം തോന്നിയത്. തോപ്രാംകുടി എന്ന ഇടുക്കിയിലെ ഗ്രാമത്തില് ഏഴു മണിക്കുള്ള ദൂരദര്ശന് വാര്ത്ത പോലും അര മണിക്കൂര് കഴിഞ്ഞേ കിട്ടു എന്ന രീതിയിലുള്ള എക്സാഗറേഷന് പല സ്ഥലതുമുള്ളതായി തോന്നി. god must be crazy എന്ന പഴയ സിനിമ ഒന്ന് കൂടെ കാണാനാണ് സത്യമായിട്ടും ഇത് കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോള് എനിക്ക് തോന്നിയത്.
സാങ്കേതികമായി പല മികവുകളുമുള്ള ശരാശരിയിലും അല്പ്പം മേലെ വരുന്ന ഒരു സിനിമ എന്ന് മാത്രമേ ലൌഡ് സ്പീക്കര് എന്ന സിനിമയെക്കുറിച്ച് പറയാനാവൂ.
കുറെ നാളുകള്ക്ക് ശേഷം വന്ന “മമ്മൂട്ടിയുടെ സിനിമ” എന്ന ചില കമന്റുകളിലെ വിലയിരുത്തല് വളരെ ബോധിച്ചു! (കഥ, തിരക്കഥ, സംഭാഷണം, നിര്മാണം, സംവിധാനം, അടി, ബാക്ക്ഗ്രൌണ്ട് മ്യൂസിക്, എഡിറ്റിംഗ്, പോസ്റര് ഒട്ടിപ്പ്, എല്ലാം മമ്മൂട്ടി എന്ന മട്ട്. കിടിലം! )
A Nice Movie…
i happened to see the movie and i would say after long time i saw a good movie. (excluding some characters like harisree asokan, cochin haneefa etc. would have added value..) Movie has tried to portrait the innosence of old village life. It also touches our nostaligic feelings….overall i can simply say it worth watching…
